It depends on a few things:
- How long have you been training?
- How much do you weigh?
- What are you training for?
- Are you a male or a female?
These are all things that come into play when you’re trying to decide whether your deadlift is heavy or not. Obviously if you’ve been training for years, are 300lbs, male, and planning to be a powerlifter having a 225 lb deadlift isn’t the best. However, if you’ve been training for a month, are 160 lbs, have no intention of lifting heavy weight, and are male or female then 225 lbs is decent. It’s all relatve.
