How We Started

Well, to be completely honest with you, What’s Your Fit was originally titled,”Powerlifting.website”. Initially we were a site that was aimed at providing beginning powerlifters with all the information they would need to successfully navigate their way to understanding their own bodies and developing their own programs. However, things change and we change with it.

We’ve been around for a few years. We started as a database of direct answers to questions posted all over the interwebs (mainly geared towards strength and powerlifting). However, over time we’ve developed into a database of questions geared towards all things fitness. We didn’t however, stop there we soon began to source information on programs so that we could provide that to the general public. We also wanted to provide a place for people to connect individuals with trainers, for free. Alas, we aren’t there yet.

Our goal is to become a hub for all things fitness and to connect fitness individuals with those who are trying to learn (or find programs). We envision a place where information (not data) is made available to the common man. The difference between data and information is that the former is just there and has no meaning (and may not even be useful), while the latter is something that is learned from the data. Even though the things that are viewed as information may still just be data for another individual. The point is that we’re here to make this information made available to the public and to provide as much of it as we possibly can and whatever format we can.
