How do I make heavy barbell back squatting easy?

I can tell you one of the things that helped me develop my back squat (and when i say develop I mean really get it together). First things first, I had to realize that actually warming up my core and lower body was actually going to help me. Before, I would just go into the gym, do my thing, leave. Now, I can tell the difference between my performance when I warm up and when I don’t - things seem to click faster when I do. Next, I would have to say to actually take small jumps when you’re actually working up to a weight (it also helps with getting things to click).
