Can you still squat, deadlift, and bench press with hip dysplasia? What limitations would be present with this condition?

Well, my good sir or ma'am (I don’t know) I just looked up hip dysplasia (I’m not a doctor) and I found that it’s basically a term that means that your hip can easily become fully or partially dislocated. Much like what you’d see in the other answer I would think that any major weight with a barbell standing would be enough to aggravate it and thus wouldn’t make it much of a good idea for you to participate in.

For example, having a barbell on your back with near max weight while knowing that one of the main movements in the squat is the hip hinge is an easy way to make sure that you injure yourself (or so it would seem. Again, I’m not too sure if you’d damage yourself with the squat with this abnormality but it makes complete sense to me). The same thing with the deadlift, a major portion of the movement is the hip hinge and if your hip isn’t secure it would seem like you would hurt yourself trying to perform it.
